Build confidence from the first hit

Learning cricket should be fun. For a young beginner, a heavy bat can be difficult to control, while a hard cricket ball can make batting and catching feel intimidating. A painful early experience can also discourage a child from trying again.

The Cricket Racket is designed for use with a lightweight tennis ball, offering a gentler introduction to batting, catching and backyard play.

With manageable equipment and a less intimidating ball, children have the opportunity to practise, experience success and build confidence while enjoying the game.

Our aim is simple: help children enjoy their first cricket experiences — and want to come back for more.

Designed for tennis-ball play. A tennis ball can still cause injury; use suitable supervision and a safe playing space.

A replaceable foot you can swap yourself

The Cricket Racket's foot taps the ground as you set up to bat — so it wears down over time. It comes off with a few screws and can be replaced at home, no workshop needed.

We'll offer different lengths and weights of foot so the racket can be custom-sized and weighted later on to tune the racket to the player.

A replaceable foot extends the life of the bat and lets players tune swing weight and balance to their own game. The foot is the part that wears fastest because it contacts the ground on every setup — making it serviceable turns a wear item into an upgrade path rather than a reason to replace the whole bat.
